Suck Me In

Thursday evening, we dined with friends.


And I had to go to the ladies' room.  


I was tired, been driving all day, and then went to the pre-shoot at 108 degrees.  Then, we met our friends at our hotel.

Needless to say, I was so tired, I wasn't all there.

So when I saw this, I freaked.  

And then, I remembered.  I'm at Saltgrass Steak House.  They do this in all their bathrooms...the going out door says Mens, if you're in the Ladies; and Ladies, if you're in the Mens. They like to mess with people's minds.


It works, even when you've not been drinking.

I didn’t even notice it.  Until we were in line in the local drive through.  And one of my girlfriends, Jenaya, said, “What is that?”

Me: “I don’t know.”

We drove closer.

Jenaya:  “Oh, gross!”

Me:  “What is it?”

She said, “I think it’s .....”

Me:  “Why do you think that?”

Jenaya:  “It’s exactly one car length apart.  Like they’re sitting in line, and then they’re moving up one car length.”

I looked.  She was right.  Of course.  She’s an engineer.  She was also closer to the event, by right of the fact that I was driving.

I couldn’t believe my eyes.

What is it?  The answer is NOT:  a green fence.
