Inspiration - Who Inspires You?

Will you talk to me about inspiration?

Who, currently in your life, inspires you, and how?

Have you told them?

My favorite story teller will win a bottle of this amazing

Young Living Essential Oil - Inspiration!!

Inspiration Essential Oil is a spiritual oil blend that has Cedarwood, Royal Sandalwood and Frankincense.  All of these oils have been used for hundreds of years by the Native Americans to open and enhance spiritual communication with the Creator.
The blend opens the third eye and throat chakra and releases negative thoughts that can block our connection with the divine. It also harmonizes the body systems; and opens the pituitary and pineal glands of the body which operates our emotional control center.*
If this oil or any Young Living Essential product interests you, contact me at www.youngliving.org/janiesnelson

The Requisite "Oh. Hello. I'm Back Blogging Again. Hope You're Still Here!" Post

Wow.  It’s been a while since I’ve written.  I started 2013 off with such a bang, writing almost every other day day.  Well, 173 days of 365.  Not quite a 50% ratio, but pretty good for me.

And then, come January 2014, I cratered.

I got really busy at work.

Things happened.

But lately,  stuff has been bubbling up again.  Mostly funny.  And You.Know.What.That.Means.

I think I feel the urge to take pen to paper.  Well, not literally, but you know.

The 4-5 a.m. clicking of fingers on the keyboard.  Or as ThatManILove says, he’ll be waking up to the light blue glare of the Mac.

Again.

I really think he likes it when I write.  He says I’m happier when I get it all out there, even though he hates being blog fodder.

He’s not, really.  Blog fodder, I mean. Well, not most of the time, anyway.

Hope to see you soon!

Bloggery Design Factors…by Diane Cayton-Hakey

Hey.

I need to do what needs to be done.  I need to commend someone sweet, honest, and creative.

What do y’all think about my new header on my blog?

Isn’t it cool?

It’s a photo of our West Texas Oilfields that I shot during sunset last winter.

And I sent it to my blogger friend, Diane Cayton-Hakey, of The BlueRidge Gal.

She designs my blog headers.

She is the bomb.com, I swear.

Diane is soooooooo talented.  Her blog is always fun.  She’s always posting cool videos, and photos, of her daily life.

She’s a fashionista.  She loves design.  And fashion. And shopping.

She's a super-intelligent woman.  Smart as a whip.  Savvy. Conscious of what's going on in our world today.

She loves her man.  Her dogs.  Her life in the country.

She’s one of the coolest peeps I know, and someday, I’m gonna meet her in person.

So, go, visit.  And if you need a new blog design, let Diane have at it.  She’s amazing.

Thank you, Diane.  I love your work. I love you.

Love, love, love.

Diane's so smart she can do this kind of computer tom-foolery stuff…I love it!  I stole it!

My Finger's Going to Rot and Fall OFF!

This morning, while cooking breakfast, I grabbed the tongs.

Turned to the stove, and reached to transfer food to the plate.

Utilizing the tongs.

Which, somehow, had grabbed my fourth finger.

And, unmercifully, sucked it into the hinge of the tongs.

When I finally realized (yeah, I’m slow) what the heck was going down, I quickly released my own hands from the tong !@#$%%&^& contraption.

I thought I had cut my finger open and was going to have to drive to the Emergency Room, blood dripping all over my car.

It was horrible.

It hurt so badly.  Even now, it’s hard to hit the letters on the keyboard.

And then, I looked at it.

Blood blister.

No cut at all.

Teeny. Tiny.  And really, unremarkable.

Unless you’re desperately scrambling for blog fodder, because you've set a goal for your self to post daily...
