Plumb Wore Out...

My faithful companions since I’m off work, post surgery.

Here, they are trying to get my attention, while acting otherwise.

Kind of in-my-face, so if, perchance, I move, they will, but meanwhile, they’re checking out what’s happening outside.  A squirrel might happen by, who knows? Multitasker German Shorthairs.

I’m doing well.  Actually drove today for a bit.  Wore me plumb out.

Plumb out.  Gosh, I’ve not heard that in a while.  “I’m worn plumb out.”

Which is completely different than “half a bubble off plumb.”

What  funky sayings hail from your "vagrant yoot"?

  1. How about 'Plum Crazy'? "Boy, you are plum crazy." Or, in my case it's how much I love plums. As in, "I was scared to death before I had my first sexual experience, and after that night I have been plum crazy about it ever sense."

  2. The dogs seem to be looking at the place called "outside" in a vague attempt to interest you in exploring it.

    It's a trap!

  3. Right now, you're livin your vida loca smack dab between two pooches. Which would you rather have: two soft, warm, friendly, comfy Shorthairs or one hard, cold, steely donkey?

You get my point. Happy recovery time, Janie.

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

Upon having completed these requirements, you may hasten to my blog Bears Noting, and pick up the aforementioned Liebster Award.

Or, it you are really busy (like writing poetry or a book, painting with watercolours, looking after a cat, recovering from illness, or moving house, you may skip the aforementioned requirements, and just go get the thing.
