I stayed with my friends, the Applegaths, this week in Pennsylvania.
And they’ve a new houseguest since I was last there. Dropped at a very young 4-5 weeks of age, by a hawk, on their back deck.
A calico cat, with more personality than any I’ve ever seen. She has NO idea she's a cat. She fetches. She arches and hisses at the least provocation.
She hides under a blanket.
And she’s a guard cat.
She’s too funny, and made me laugh more times than I can count!
What a beautiful (and very lucky!) cat.
ReplyDeleteI believe that pets come to us when we need them, but I have never heard of one being dropped from the sky. Usually they come in a much more conventional manner.
ReplyDeleteWhat a face!!!
The storks must be sub-contracting out the the "baby bringing business".
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who doesn't understasnd why cats are so funny. I've had to tell her, "If you don't see it, I can't explain it to you."
ReplyDeleteLove this cat!
Pearl
So cute!
ReplyDeleteShe's gorgeous...totally :)
ReplyDeleteshe is BEAUTIFUL!!! i'd be totally enamored with her as well!
ReplyDeleteIf I'd have been dropped by an eagle, I'd be on guard and under a blanket too.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the creature, with quite the story. All in all, not to bad. For a cat.
ReplyDeleteShe is quite lovely from her perch there behind the railing.
ReplyDeleteShe's very beautiful too!
