Thought I'd bore you all to tears with some of the wildlife pix I've taken this week. If you're gonna cry, I suggest Puffs brand tissues. You can even splurge and get the scented ones.

Thar she blows!! |

They are so beautiful! |
The moose are calving and the babies are so beautiful. I've not yet caught a good picture of the babies, but I will. Until then, meet Miss Thang.

This moose cow actually crossed the river by swimming right behind our boat! |

I think she's neat looking...(she thinks she's absolutely beautiful. She told me. But then again, she thought I was from TMZ.) |

Bald eaglets talking trash to the seagull. The vagrancies of youth remain the same throughout all species! Aren't they beautiful? They will turn the black and white of the Bald Eagle in 4-5. |
Now, take a breath, and brace yourself for the wildest, most dangerous species of all? VACATIONERS! Paired with Ron and Denise Maddox, owners of Eagle Head Cabins, and Rod Edwards & Anna Koritansky, co-workers and friends of ThatJanieGirl and ThatManILove? Scary, scary stuff. Especially when they've been partaking of grilled tenderloin and salmon. And vino.
Not me, though. I was the designated photographer. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Okay, well, I did try a glass of the Alaskan wine. Good stuff, Maynard Rod. Good stuff.
It's never boring around here!
thanks so much for sharing your trip! It has been great to tag along!
ReplyDeleteIn my OLD OLD age, I find it more and more confusing when I see people wearing coats, SITTING OUTSIDE, drinking and smiling. I gasp. I fight off a fainting spell, then take a nap. Everyone in Alaska is made of good ol' courageous stock!! I'm made out of SaranWrap.
ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy is the theme song from the TV show Northern Exposure suddenly running through my head??
ReplyDeleteDI
I'm so happy you had such a fabulous vacation!! Like I told you, one day I will get to Alaska. I'm just afraid I won't want to go home!
ReplyDeleteI just found out that my brother-in-law and his wife are in Alaska with their two young daughters! So, I'm so glad to be seeing your photos--which are beautiful. Looks like you're having a marvelous time. :-)
ReplyDeleteWay to take this crappy winterlike spring head on and head for Alaska. I'm impressed. And the pictures are awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow you get close and personal with nature. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteA nice time of year with the young animals around. I liked your whale photos - Dave
