Snoozebucket Bedfellows

Snoozing and snuffling accompanies the night sounds in my bedroom.

Zack and Zanna wormed their way into the bed last night, and I was so out of it, they never made it to their kennels.

Such things tend to happen when ThatManILove is out of town.

I turn on the light, and my purview of my current territory is...2:1, Wonderdogs:Janie.

Two people could be on ThatManILove’s side of the bed.

Zack’s head is on my shoulder.

Zanna’s under the covers, at my feet.

I could put them up, but it’s 4:50 a.m.  I guess I woke up to go to the gym, but that’s tomorrow, not today.

I think I’ll let them snooze.  It’s a peaceful sound...and I might sleep a little more, myself.

Happy trails to you, today, as you go out and about your day.

Happy trails.

  1. Going to the (Wonder)dogs: not a bad way to snuggle up!

Happy trails to you, too, Janie!

  2. I have two hundred pound each dogs that are not too old to climb on the bed anymore, but their sounds are soothing to me. One is a chocolate lab and the other a Grand Pyrenees whose head has to weigh 50lbs, but she would plop it on my chest or belly trying to snuggle. Now if I could get Judy to do that I would sleep better. But she sleeps on her side of the bed with all the covers. I freeze a lot. I have thought about getting in the floor with the dogs so I could cuddle and get warm.

  3. They just like being with you. Nothing to do with a soft warm bed.
